This D-Hole Panel Mount variant (commonly known as a bulkhead “D-Flat” mount) is designed for rigid integration into equipment panels. The “D” shape of the threaded body fits into a corresponding flat-sided panel cutout, which physically prevents the connector from spinning when the external TNC male plug is tightened or loosened, ensuring a permanent and secure grounding path.
Unlike crimp-style connectors, this variant features a solder-cup or solder-post termination, allowing for direct attachment of internal chassis wiring or the center conductor of a coaxial cable.
