The TNC (Threaded Neill-Concelman) series is a high-reliability version of the BNC interface, replacing the bayonet mount with a threaded coupling to ensure stability in high-vibration environments. This male (plug) variant is specialized for the 5mm (0.195″) cable class, providing an optimized termination for flexible RG58, heat-resistant RG142, and low-loss LMR195/LMR200 cables. It is widely utilized in aerospace, military, and industrial sectors where signal continuity is critical despite physical movement or shock.

 

This connector utilizes a professional crimp termination system. The outer ferrule provides a 360-degree mechanical bond with the cable’s shielding, while the precision-machined center pin is typically crimped or soldered to the internal conductor. Manufactured with a heavy-duty nickel-plated brass body and premium PTFE (Teflon) insulation, it delivers consistent performance up to 11 GHz.
