This connector is designed for field assembly on 1/4″ corrugated copper or aluminum cables. The multi-piece clamp assembly ensures maximum surface contact between the cable’s outer conductor and the connector body, which is essential for maintaining low Passive Intermodulation (PIM) levels (typically ≤ -155 dBc). It incorporates high-grade silicone gaskets to meet IP68 ingress protection standards, making it fully suitable for exposed outdoor environments.

Internally, it utilizes PTFE (Teflon) insulation and a gold or silver-plated center contact to minimize signal loss and contact resistance. The 7/16 DIN interface is standard for macro and small cell infrastructure because it can handle significant installation torque and maintains a stable connection even under high-vibration conditions.
