Description
The 2-Way Cavity Type Power Divider is a high-performance passive component designed to split an input RF signal into two equal-power output signals with minimal loss. Unlike microstrip splitters, this cavity-based design provides superior power handling, lower insertion loss, and exceptional intermodulation performance (Low PIM). Optimized for the 300MHz to 1000MHz spectrum, it perfectly covers UHF, TETRA, and low-band cellular frequencies (700/800/900MHz).
The divider features a precision-machined N-Type Female interface on all ports, ensuring a secure, low-loss connection suitable for industrial and telecommunications infrastructure. Its robust air-dielectric cavity construction allows it to manage high power levels while maintaining excellent amplitude and phase balance between outputs. Housed in a weather-resistant, passivated aluminum enclosure, it is engineered for long-term reliability in both indoor head-ends and protected outdoor installations.
Key Technical Advantages
-
Low Insertion Loss: The air-cavity design minimizes internal attenuation, ensuring maximum signal strength is delivered to the distributed antennas or components.
-
High Power Handling: Engineered to manage significantly higher power levels than standard microstrip dividers, making it ideal for transmitter sites.
-
Superior Low PIM Performance: Minimized passive intermodulation (PIM) ensures signal clarity and prevents interference in sensitive digital communication bands.
-
Exceptional VSWR Matching: Precision-tuned internals provide excellent impedance matching across the entire 300-1000MHz range, protecting expensive RF sources from reflections.
-
Ruggedized Construction: The heavy-duty aluminum housing and high-quality N-type connectors provide superior RF shielding and mechanical durability.
