The U.FL series (compatible with I-PEX MHF and AMC interfaces) is the industry standard for ultra-compact RF interconnects. This male (receptacle) variant is designed for Surface Mount Technology (SMT), providing a permanent board-side docking point for U.FL female cable assemblies. Engineered for the most space-constrained environments, this connector is a staple in the design of IoT devices, smartphones, and embedded wireless modules where traditional threaded connectors are too large.

Maintaining a strict 50-Ohm impedance, this connector delivers reliable microwave performance up to 6 GHz. The male receptacle features a center post and outer ground ring designed to provide a secure “snap” when mated with a female plug, ensuring mechanical stability and electrical continuity. Manufactured with gold-plated contacts and high-temperature resistant liquid crystal polymer (LCP), it is optimized for high-volume reflow soldering processes while ensuring minimal insertion loss and low return loss for sensitive 5G and Wi-Fi 6E signals.
