The SMA Male Right-Angle Solder Connector for RG.086 is a professional-grade RF component designed for applications where space is critically limited and signal integrity is paramount. Because RG.086 (often referred to as SS405 or RG405) features a solid or braided silver-plated copper outer conductor, this connector utilizes a direct-solder body attachment.

The cable is soldered 360 degrees to the connector body, creating a seamless, gas-tight mechanical and electrical bond. The Right-Angle (90°) geometry allows for tight cable routing inside shielded enclosures without exceeding the minimum bend radius of the semi-rigid cable, which could otherwise cause signal reflections. This termination method ensures the highest possible EMI/RFI shielding and maintains an ultra-low VSWR across frequencies reaching up to 18 GHz.
