Description
Designed for infrastructure-grade reliability, this connector features a robust brass body typically finished with a tri-alloy (white bronze) plating to ensure excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The 4-hole flange design ensures that the connector remains immobile under the high torque required to mate 7/16 DIN plugs. Its solder-pot center contact is precision-machined to facilitate easy assembly and ensure a low-resistance signal path.
The internal PTFE (Teflon) dielectric provides high voltage insulation and thermal stability, allowing the connector to handle continuous high-power RF loads (up to several hundred watts). When mounted with a conductive gasket, it provides excellent EMI/RFI shielding, preventing signal leakage and maintaining the integrity of sensitive 4G/5G equipment enclosures.
Key Technical Advantages
-
Mechanical Stability: The 4-hole square flange prevents rotation and provides a solid mechanical ground to the equipment chassis.
-
Low PIM Engineering: Constructed with non-magnetic materials to minimize Passive Intermodulation, essential for modern multi-carrier cellular networks.
-
High Power Handling: Capable of dissipating significant RF energy, making it suitable for main transmission line interfaces.
-
Broadband Precision: Fully optimized for frequencies from DC to 7.5 GHz, covering all sub-6GHz 5G and satellite communication bands.
-
Durable Interface: The 7/16 DIN standard is built for longevity, maintaining electrical specs over hundreds of mating cycles even in high-vibration environments.
