The SMC Female Right-Angle (RA) Crimp Connector is a subminiature threaded RF interface engineered for environments where both mechanical security and compact cable management are essential. The 90-degree right-angle configuration allows cables to exit parallel to the panel or PCB, significantly reducing the depth required behind equipment enclosures and protecting micro-diameter cables from exceeding their minimum bend radius.

Unlike snap-on connectors, the SMC series utilizes a threaded coupling mechanism, providing a semi-permanent and highly vibration-resistant connection. This variant is precision-machined for high-performance 50-Ohm micro-cables, including LMR100, the flexible RG174, and the high-temperature RG316.
