Description

The 1-5/8″ feeder is utilized when signal runs exceed several hundred feet or when transmitting extremely high power. Its massive physical size results in the lowest possible resistive loss, ensuring that almost every watt of power from the transmitter reaches the antenna. The solid corrugated copper shield provides shielding effectiveness of >120 dB, making it exceptionally resistant to interference even in the most congested RF environments.

Due to its significant diameter, this cable has a large bending radius and is quite heavy, requiring specialized hoisting grips, heavy-duty hangers, and professional installation teams. It is typically jacketed in UV-resistant Black PE for a 20+ year outdoor life or LSZH for safety in tunnels and indoor applications.
