Description

The 1-5/8″ variant is the “trunk line” of the radiating cable family. Because of its massive diameter, it offers the lowest signal attenuation of any leaky feeder, allowing RF signals to travel significantly further down the cable before requiring a boost. It features precision-engineered slots in the corrugated copper outer conductor that act as a continuous, linear antenna, providing a stable cylindrical radiation zone that follows the cable’s path perfectly.

To meet the stringent safety requirements of public transportation and industrial confined spaces, these cables are almost exclusively supplied with a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket. This ensures that in the event of a fire, the cable will not emit toxic fumes or dense, obscuring smoke, which is a critical safety standard for metro rail and road tunnels.
